It stands for positive vibe club.
Since the Giants women made their debut in 2018, enjoyment has been one of their core directives. It has been reflected in their performances.
"That's our one goal, as it was last year, was to have fun," Giants captain Katie Kennedy said.
"You know we thought we'd just have this little saying so when we are feeling down, it just builds us back up."
There were also plenty of positive vibes for the Bathurst Bushrangers Rebels as they won the men's grand final over the Orange Tigers later that afternoon.
Bill Watterson, who was named best on ground after booting five goals for the victorious Rebels, made a point of praising his team-mates.
He also paid tribute to the Tigers, who played in their fourth grand final against a Bushrangers outfit since 2015.
"Best on ground, that was a nice surprise, but it's more about the team, it's a team game. It's nice, but without the 24 blokes you play with you don't get there," Watterson said.
"I think I've lost two [grand finals] to Orange, so it's a good rivalry, it's good for the league, it makes games a lot more fun. It's a great atmosphere and it's nice to get one up finally."
