Mr Holden, who ran the business online before opening a shop front in Kelso earlier this year, said the first seven months of trading had exceeded "all expectations" and the time to move was right.
He said the response to the business since he opened the doors has been amazing and he thanked everyone for their support.

"I never thought I'd be expanding just seven months in, it's great," he said.
"The support from the public has been really good. I've developed clients who have been willing to come in and give me a go, who want to support a local business and understand the value small business has in the community."
While other companies are more focused on on line sales these days, Mr Holden said the secret to his success in front line retail has been a focus on customer service.
"That's always been my philosophy; give people a reason to come into the store, they can see the display, and feel the product."
Mr Holden said he originally considered expanding the Kelso site, but when he saw the Stewart Street showroom was available knew it would be perfect.
"I've always had my eye on this place and thought it was a great location, even years ago before I started the business, I thought it would be a cool place for a 4WD business.
"When I heard it was vacant, I knew it was the spot.
"It's got so much room, workshops upstairs, and there's more room to expand when we need to.
"Ultimately my goal is to be a one stop 4WD and camping shop, to be the place people come to when they need anything for four-wheel-driving or camping.
"The goal is to continue expanding, if I don't have something you need, I'll find it for you."
Mr Holden said Mitch's Mobile Electrical, who has contracted for him since he opened The 4WD Zone, is also subletting one of the workshops and will continue to do electrical work for the business.
Matt said it was great to be working in his dream job.
Growing up as a kid, Matt loved nothing more than going camping with his dad in his 4WD.
"Dad had an old Land Rover and he was mad keen on four-wheel-driving, that's how its started," he said.
In 2007 Mr Holden started learning about web deign and built and developed his own web site.
It grew and in 2014, he had what was effectively a stock warehouse at home, and in the last 24 months the business has continued to expand. The business, located next to the 7-11 on Stewart Street, is open 9-5 Monday to Friday, and 9-1 Saturdays.
