The call to action was advertised in the weekend bulletin of the Cathedral Parish of St Michael and St John, asking people "to be a voice for the unborn."
The rally, which gets underway 6pm, outside the Bathurst RSL Club, has been planned to coincide with a National Party meeting being held inside.
Participants are asked to bring their own pro-life placards to the event, which are "respectful, creative and colourful."
Organisers of the event said every baby was precious.
"Your voice as the constituents of Bathurst has the power to save them."
The Western Advocate spoke with organiser, Jeremy, on Monday, who said he was expecting up to 50 people to attend.
Jeremy said he had been inundated with calls of support since organising the rally.
He said right to life was something he was passionate about, and felt the recent abortion bill had 'flown under the radar' and people needed to speak up.
He said the group would be meeting at 5.40pm in the RSL car park, and the aim of the rally was to let politicians know "this matters."
The Bathurst rally is one of a number held across the state, as MPs debate the issue this week.
On Sunday, former prime minister Tony Abbott told an anti-abortion protest in Sydney that the NSW decriminalisation bill will lead to "infanticide on demand".
Mr Abbott and Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce joined thousands of protesters in Sydney's Hyde Park on Sunday as state MPs prepare to debate amendments this week.
The NSW bill, which will make abortion available on request up to 22 weeks and require approval of two doctors thereafter, is modelled on Queensland law. Victoria has similar laws, but the threshold for requiring the oversight of two doctors is set at 24 weeks.
Footnote: Bathurst Nationals SEC president Brett Kenworthy contacted the Western Advocate to say there was no party meeting scheduled at Bathurst RSL on Tuesday night.
A meeting had been tentatively booked for tonight but had been cancelled in June.
However, rally organiser Jeremy, when contacted, said the rally would still go ahead.
