Not only do the winners of the teams event get to progress on to the next level of the competition alongside club professional Matt Barrett, but anyone who sinks a hole-in-one on the 13th will walk away with a new car.
"It's a great thing that the product we work with is getting into the community, especially something like golf which I personally enjoy very much," Bathurst Volkswagen senior manager John Kajar said.
"It really kicks off the golf season in Bathurst," Barrett said.
"Everyone comes back from their winter codes and this is the competition that gets everyone excited for the spring. This is an awesome tournament that everyone has a lot of fun at.
"Over nine years this is the biggest field we've had. I've never filled this field before. Volkswagen offering a car for a hole-in-one."
The club is also celebrating a great result for their team in Junior State Pennants, a strong win over Dubbo in the regional final at Wellington.
"I sent them away to get some experience against a good side but they ended up beating them 4.5 to 1.5," Barrett said.
The victory for the talented Bathurst team of Cameron Jackson, Ben Davis, Casey Thompson, Jake Davis, Cooper Starkey and Jacob Lamb moves them on to the state semi-finals.
