It is 'Team White' the group of talented umpires who will oversee the deciders across the grades and though they may not be lining up shots, pushing for intercepts or taking centre passes themselves, they are just as crucial as anyone who puts on a bib.
Without umpires games would not go ahead, which is why the Bathurst Netball Association has invested plenty of time and effort into training officials.
For the 2019 season, the Bathurst Netball Association introduced 20 junior umpires and 19 senior officials to the demanding task of controlling games each Saturday.
This year the association also assessed nine umpires for national accreditation.
Maddy Coombes, Hannah McCarthy, Natalie Mawhood, Tianna Copeland, Katy Beuzeville, Emily Beuzeville, Molly Dowling, Pearl Grimmett and Tessa Welsh all received a National C badge.
With just under 60 umpire allocations to be filled each Saturday, the association certainly appreciates all members of 'Team White' who put their hand up to umpire.
But is not just at the John Matthews Sporting Complex each Saturday that Team White is in action.
These umpires do more than just Saturday games - they also attend numerous carnivals, including regional league and junior and senior state titles.
