I WALKED around the Mount on Sunday around midday and I was amazed by several things that I saw.
One: the number of visitors driving around the iconic track.
Two: the number of drivers on motorbikes and cars that go way over the speed limit.
Three: the number of vehicles that have no idea it is a two-way road.
At the bottom of Pit Straight, heading towards Rydges, was a large coach, completely on the wrong side of the road for several hundred metres.
Then, coming out of the Esses, there was another vehicle on the wrong side again.
If council thinks it is "tickety-boo" the way it is, then council is in for a shock, as it surely is only a matter of time before another serious accident takes place.
