AROUND 650 participants and their supporters were in Russell Street on Sunday morning for the annual Edgell Jog.
The event attracted all kinds of people, from elite athletes to those who just wanted to walk the 7.5-kilometre course.
Although entries were down from the previous year, organisers were still happy with how the event went.
It was thought that the rain the previous night had impacted last-minute registrations.
The winners of the 2019 Edgell Jog was James Nipperess, a two-time Commonwealth Games competitor, while Lauren Reid first woman home and fourth overall.
