Ms Smith, who comprises one half of local music duo Smith & Jones, will be running a vintage pop-up stall at 5/62 George Street this Saturday under the moniker 'A Puppy and Her.'
"So many fashion trends these days seem to be centred around what's cheap and easy, and I want to help share the self-expressive nature of vintage clothing," Ms Smith said.
"There will be lots of different sizes and styles on offer, and it's all about promoting sustainable and vibrant fashion."
The fashion items will span multiple eras from the 1960s to the 2000s, and Ms Smith will be running the stall alongside Plastic Cactus owner Michelle McRobert, who specialises in unique earrings.
"This event is about promoting style over consumption, and I think people forge a stronger sense of identity when they find something unique to wear," Ms Smith said.
"It can be daunting to try something new, but we want to advocate that you can wear whatever makes you happy."
The stall will be open from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, and will include dogs, punch and handmade macrame.
