Jay Sean, best known for his chart-topping 2009 singles 'Down' and 'Do You Remember,' will make an appearance during Saturday's nightclub proceedings performing selections of old and new material.
Oxford Hotel entertainment manager Adam Soar said the event will be Sean's sole Saturday performance in NSW.
"The Oxford has never had an artist of Jay Sean's calibre perform on a Saturday before, and to gain a weekend spot for a notable international musician is a big score for Bathurst," Mr Soar said.
"We've worked hard to enhance the production for this performance, and we're expecting it to be the venue's biggest show ever."
Mr Soar said the event is part of a push to attract high-profile artists to the Central West for performances.
"Over the last six months, we've started to build relationships with major Australian promotional agencies, which has allowed us to secure acts such as Timomatic and Sean Kingston," he said.
"We want to help make Bathurst the place to be for touring acts, and our goal is to bring people together to enjoy performances from quality artists."
The event will get under way this Saturday from 9pm, with Sean's performance to commence at 12.30am.
Tickets cost $30 and will be available on the door and online.
