BATHURST police are appealing for information after firearms and more than $500,000 worth of stolen machinery and equipment were seized from a property at Hill End.

Detectives from Western Region, with assistance from the State Crime Command's Organised Crime Squad, established Strike Force Mactier to investigate the criminal networks across the Central West.
As part of their joint inquiries, strike force investigators - assisted by the Rural Crime Prevention Team, Region Enforcement Squad and Police Rescue - executed a search warrant at a property on Warrys Road, Hill End, about 70km north of Bathurst last Wednesday, September 25.
Police seized four handguns, a tablet press, firearm scopes, and ammunition, two stolen vehicles and a small amount of MDMA.
About 12.20pm the next day, investigators returned and seized large machinery and earthmoving equipment believed to be stolen or the proceeds of crime. The equipment is valued at more than $500,000.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information about the property to come forward.
