Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) are advising motorists to allow extra travel time on roads around Bathurst as drivers make their way to and from Mount Panorama during Race Week.

It'll all get underway with the Supercars Transporter and Drivers Parade, which takes place on William Street from 11.30am on Wednesday.
Some local roads will be closed for the parade and there will be delays for westbound motorists on the Great Western Highway with changed traffic conditions.
Motor racing activities start with practice on Thursday and will continue through to Sunday afternoon, with heavy traffic expected on roads including the Great Western Highway, Mitchell Highway and the Mid Western Highway during this time.
There will be extra traffic crews on these thoroughfares from Saturday until Monday.
The heaviest traffic is expected on Monday morning as thousands of race fans depart.
On the Mid Western Highway, westbound through Cowra, motorists may experience delays up to 20 minutes between 9am and 1.30pm on Monday.
On the Great Western Highway, eastbound through Blackheath, motorists may experience delays up to 40 minutes between 9.30am and 2.30pm on Monday.
A reduced speed limit will be in place on the Mid Western Highway approaching Cowra to help traffic flow.
