Tuesday's school holiday entertainment at Bathurst Library was a fun exercise all about becoming a superhero, ready for his or her debut on the big screen.
For this workshop, the library had instructors from Action Reaction Entertainment come along to teach students some superhero skills.
Outreach programs officer Natalie Conn said it was something new for the library and the response shows that children are interested in physical activities.
"It's been really well-received, because we've had two workshops and a show sell out. It's been the first time we've have something like this since I've been working at the library," she said.

There was an audience of 70 children for the show, while the two workshops were attended by 15 kids each.
They ranged in age from three years old up to 14.
"They've been learning superhero stage techniques and film techniques, like how to do tumbles, rolls and landing," Mrs Conn said.
"They've also been learning combat stage fighting for cinematography, so without contact."

She said the library was interested in offering more physical activities during school holidays, in addition to its usual offering of craft workshops.
"If we can find anything similar to this with professionals. then we'll certainly look into it," she said.
The library will run another workshop this week, lantern making for Diwali, which has been booked out.
Mrs Conn said every workshop run these school holidays has been a sell-out.
