Race day weather predictions for Sunday show a 20 per cent chance of less than one millimetre of rainfall, Weatherzone says.
The day is set to be mostly sunny with a minimum of three degrees and top of 18 which is just below the long term average maximum for Bathurst during October of 20.5 degrees.

The Bureau of Meteorology's MetEye website agrees that the chance of rainfall during the race will be slight, it showed some will fall not far from Bathurst.
The site shows that areas to the east may have rain from early Sunday morning until around 5pm.
The average rainfall during October for Bathurst is 52.8mm, but so far just 2.8mm has been recorded.
