St Pat's Old Boys will starts its Royal Hotel Cup defence on Sunday morning when it locks horns with Orange rivals CYMS at Wade Park.
And there'll be four noticeable changes from the St Pat's team that won by 23 runs in the final in March against Orange City.
Youngsters Nic Broes (Western Districts), Ben Mitchell (ANU) and Tanvir Singh (Western Suburbs) have all left the club to further their cricket careers, while Adam Ryan is unable to play due to a wedding.
That means some of the club's up-and-coming juniors will have a chance to enjoy themselves, including Cooper Brien, Brydon Slattery, Ben Cant and Hugh Parsons.
It'll also mark the first official match in St Pat's colours for Andrew Brown, who linked with the club from Centennial Bulls, who were, at the time, yet to make a decision on whether or not it would join the Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket.
The club will also have the services of the ever-reliable Jameel Qureshi, the Rugby Union regular signing on as a marquee player for St Pat's during the competition.
St Pat's player Matt Fearnley expects both Qureshi and Brown to add plenty of experience to his side during the tournament.
"Jameel just gives us that extra leadership and experience," he said.
"Browny just secures our top end of the bat. He's an opening batsman, so he just gives us that confidence with the bat. He'll fulfill that role as opening batsman that we lost from Nic Broes."
Fearnley is confident that the lose of Nic Broes - who finished the 2018-19 Bathurst District Cricket Association first grade season with a high of 601 for 42.93 - will not affect St Pat's.
"We've always had an emphasis on junior development and it's great to see the success of the kids being developed [like Nic Broes]," he said.
Sunday's match starts at 10am.
