Fisk, 14, didn't buckle under the pressure and threw 21.41 metres to come home with the girls discus throw AMB Para 12-15 years gold.
In the process Fisk booked her spot in the NSW team to contest the Australian All Schools Championships in Perth over December 6 to 8.
Fisk came up just short of adding shot put to her representative schedule after she came home a close third at NSW All Schools.
The discus gold is an impressive achievement for the year eight student when you consider she began doing it at a competitive level less than three years ago.
"We had four attempts. There were three to start then the top eight got an extra one. My longest came on the last throw," Fisk said.
"I'd been coming first the whole competition then one of the other girls beat me but on my last throw I beat her by a metre.
Fisk finished clear of Zara Perry (20.07m) and Caitlin Bargwanna (16.82m) in the battle for discus gold, while the Bathurst athlete was nearly six metres clear of the nearest T37 competitor.
Perry got the better of Fisk in the shot put as the Bathurst athlete threw 6.93m - narrowly missing the top two spot required to contest the event at nationals.
While not expecting great results from her track events Fisk managed to surprise herself by reaching finals.
She ran 19.41 for the 100m and then ran a 41.66 in the heats of the 200m.

Fisk would go on to better that time in the 200m final with a 40.78.
On top of that Fisk was sixth in the long jump with a 2.76m effort.
Fisk said the overall group of results were a bonus on top of her discus achievement.
"With shot put I was hoping to place and with the running events they were just for a bit of fun," she said.
"The shot put was on later in the day so I was feeling pretty drained from the long day and I wasn't too sure how I'd go but it was really good.
"I made the top eight finalists for my track events and I don't normally do that so I was really happy with that."
Now the training steps up another gear for Fisk as she chases national glory.
"I've sometimes been to Little Athletics but I've mostly trained on my own, down on the football field where I throw my discus and shot put," she said.
"I'll start training nearly day I can now to try and get myself right up there.
"I have to thank my local physio and trainer at Bathurst Physiotherapy, Luke Howard, who has been a really big help with my field events."
This will be Fisk's first appearance at nationals at a high school age.
Fisk was one of four Bathurst High School athletes to attend NSW All Schools along with Zen Clark, Kane Simmons and Aiden Stait.
Clark (100, 200m sprint 19 years) and Simmons (javelin throw 700g 17 years) will add to the school's strong representation in Perth.
