DANCE, drama, circus and music talents will be on show at the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Night at the Kelso High Campus this Tuesday.

"Any students are able to perform on the evening, however, there is a special focus on work done in class and in peripatetic groups," music teacher Oriana Zanon said.

She said one of the highlights on the evening will be a chair drumming segment.
"This comes from an interactive program which allows students to learn a basic drum beat and then play along to a range of songs to embed their learning," she said.
"Not only will you hear familiar songs being played by students, but also arrangements of songs, which have been given a twist.
"Circus students will perform hula hoop and floor work, while the dancers will thrill you with their repertoire of contemporary dance movements.
"Year nine and 10 drama students will present a devised physical piece based on the theme of nightmares and have used movement principles from professional companies.
"They will also present filmed mockumentaries using political issues that concern them as stimulus."
CAPA Night will be held this Tuesday, October 22 from 6pm in the gymnasium (entry by gold coin donation).
