Vanessa Pringle Floral Designs was the big winner on the night, taking home seven of the 20 awards on offer, including the prestigious Carillon Award for Bathurst's business of the year.
The haul of awards was fitting reward for eight years of building her business and entering the awards.
It was just last year, after seven years of entering the awards, that the business finally won its first (and second) gong, but the trophy cabinet will be full after Friday night's effort.\
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
part from the Carillon Award, Vanessa Pringle Floral Designs also took home awards in the Excellence In Construction and Trades, Excellence in Micro Business, Excellence in Retail, Business Leader, Innovation Leader and new #KeepItLocalBx categories.
An overwhelmed Ms Pringle called the night "the best thing ever".
"I'm just so excited and thrilled for my staff," she said.
"I've been entering the awards for eight years and we finally won our first awards last year for retail and favourite employee."
Ms Pringle said she was seeing her business grow despite tough retail conditions.
"Our business is increasing daily," she said.
"I don't know if it's just that over time we've become a bit more familiar but we are also focused on making sure we offer the same service to everyone who comes in, whether they're after a $5 bunch of flowers or $150 bunch."
Other multiple winners on Friday night were The Victoria Bathurst (Excellence in Small Business and Excellence in Food, Wine or Hospitality), Vivability (Bathurst's Favourite Employee in Taha Mashfiq and Bathurst's Favourite Business) and Macquarie Medi Spa (Excellence in Education and Employer of Choice).
Mickey Pye from Bathurst Academy of Music and Sean Johnson from Calare Civil shared the award for Young Business Professional.
