The spectacular showcases gardens that have been selected by Bathurst Garden Club members and are located all across Bathurst, including at White Rock, Clear Creek, Kelso, Eglinton and Llanarth.
One couple that will be opening their property Somerset Rise to the public this Saturday and Sunday is Christine and Richard Hurford, who live on Paul Close at Kelso.
They moved into their current property seven years ago and spent plenty of time transforming the property that had once been used for cattle grazing.
"The garden is a mixture of shrubs, herbs, roses and fruit trees - we call it our rustic garden," Ms Hurford said.
"We have a very small amount of lawn at the back of the house but, for grandchildren's entertainment, behind us is crown land which is open to many opportunities for family games."
Bathurst Garden Club member Peter Varman said that the Spring Spectacular has been been running for almost 20 years.
"Money that comes from the tickets is given to local charities and we've chosen most of them," he said.
"Each garden will have a sitter, so there'll be a person sitting at a desk and answering questions, to find out whatever you need to know.
"We also have music in most gardens, in the morning and afternoon, and we'll also have some stalls set up.
"We're also getting a lot of support, with a fair few buses coming in from out of town."
Mr Varman said it takes almost a year to organise the entire Spring Spectacular event.
"With a committee of about eight or nine, it takes us about a year to set up the Spring Spectacular," he said.
"We work very hard throughout that year to make sure it runs smoothly."
Tickets for the spectacular can be purchased from the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre or any show garden.
All 10 showcase gardens will be open to members of the public on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
