Bathurst's Fire and Rescue NSW crew were called to a reported blaze at the Adventure Playground at 2.22am on Tuesday.
"We got called out by a member of the public to an unknown fire," Station Officer Tim Anderson said.
Upon arrival crews discovered the blaze was in the playground's learn to bike ride area.
"It's where the kids can learn to ride their bike, someone had decided to light a go-kart on fire there," Station Officer Anderson said.
"The fire has spread to the house structures that were in there ... it's quite extensively damaged."
The Fire and Rescue NSW crew have since notified police and the incident is now under investigation.
If you have any information call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
