Vivability provides comprehensive, individually tailored programs, where there is a focus on how the individual can develop life skills and achieve their goals.
Company CEO Nicholas Packham said Vivability is proud to implement a strong ethical approach, guided by relevant legislation in all areas of service provision.
"We constantly reflect on ways to increase the quality of life for our clients and their families," he said.
"We value diversity in our workforce and while we employ locally, we have also progressed to hire and sponsor qualified experts from overseas to in part address the skill shortages in some specialist services.
Mr Packham said the company values cultural diversity and believe that this approach enhances the organisation.
This advertising feature is sponsored by the following business:
"Our services include supported accommodation, respite, drop in support, day programs, work training programs, recreation, therapy services, behavioural intervention and support coordination.
"All our services are designed around individual clients with a focus on increasing independence, self-determination and community participation."
Mr Packham said it was most important for Vivability to lead the way, not only in the areas of skilled service provision but in the acknowledgement of the most ethical and socially just processes to ensure service users have comparable living standards and conditions to those living without a disability.
"Ensuring that all processes are examined explicitly to ensure ethical decisions are the focal point of enabling service users to enjoy a dignified experience at Vivability."
Mr Packham said, as a leader in the disability sector Vivability strives to provide the best services available to their clients.
"To enable us to do this we have developed the business to ensure we are able to provide services that are unique, flexible and guided by sound clinical practice," he said.
"With the total privatisation of the disability sector in NSW it became evident that there would be significant gaps in regards to specialist serviceswithin the sector.
"To address this Vivability is committed to being recognised as a "go to" well-resourced organisation in regards to specialist services."
Mr Packham said these service included therapy and behavioural intervention teams which guide clinical practice.
"Our services are available to individuals as well as other organisations."
Vivability was awarded favourite business and favourite employee last week.
