The family and friends of four-year-old Poppy Stanton have been appealing to the community for help to raise $20,000 for an assistance dog.
As a symptom of Rett Syndrome, Poppy suffers from seizures. With the help of the specially trained dog, others can be alerted to a seizure.
The dog can also provide her with comfort and aid her mobility.
Tickets for a mega raffle have been on sale for some time and the raffle will be drawn at the event on Saturday at Paddy's Hotel.
Fundraising coordinator Lauren Lyons said she and Poppy's parents have been busy preparing for the night.
"Everything is on track and it should be a great night," she said.
In addition to the raffle, there will be mystery boxes, auctions, a coin toss and Poppy's Purple Heart Wall.
People can buy hearts for $25, picking their own number. If their number is drawn, they will win a prize.
The event starts at 5pm. The raffle itself will be drawn after 6.30pm, while the hearts will be drawn once all 100 have been sold.
Everyone is welcome to come along on the night, but people are encouraged to indicate their attendance via the event listing on the Empowering Poppy Facebook page, so the organisers can get an idea of numbers.
"We have achieved so much during the past nine weeks, so we would like to say thank you and celebrate our achievements and hopefully raise a little bit more money for Poppy's future," Ms Lyons said.
