In September, the Salvos released a statement saying it would be selling its hall and the two houses it owned on neighbouring sites in Stewart Street.
The properties were due to go to auction on Friday, October 25.
Ray White Emms Mooney sales specialist Kurt Waterford said the site with the houses sold prior to auction.
"There was a couple of different clients looking to purchase and one bought it prior to auction, and he is going to do them up and probably rent them out, I'd say," Mr Waterford said.
The hall site did not sell at the auction, but Mr Waterford said his agency was in discussions with a couple of potential buyers, who are doing their due diligence and looking at finance.
While the Salvos are selling these assets, it will continue to have a presence in Bathurst at its Keppel Street premises.
Funds raised through the sale of the Stewart Street properties will be used to further the organisation's commitment to the Bathurst region.
