THERE was plenty of talk about Josh Hazlewood taking career best figures as New South Wales made it three from three to start the Sheffield Shield season, but he was not the only Blues bowler to notch up a milestone at Adelaide Oval.

Bathurst seamer Trent Copeland did as well.
While Hazlewood snared his career best first class figures of 6-35 to help the Blues to a 96-run win over South Australia, Copeland moved up into eighth on the list of all-time first class wicket takers for New South Wales.
Copeland took 3-67 in the Redbacks' first innings and 3-50 in the second to move his tally of Blues' first class wickets to 294.
It moved him ahead of late left-arm spinner Johnny Martin (291).
Typically, Copeland's performance at the Adelaide Oval saw him bowl the most overs of any member of the Blues attack - 46 - and he was economical as well as he went for less than three runs an over and notched up 15 maidens.
He also took two handy slips catches off the spin bowling of team-mate Nathan Lyon.
In another sign of the importance Copeland holds within the Blues squad, he was the person selected to present debutant Daniel Solway with his baggy blue cap before the start of the match.
The Bathurst talent, who has played 74 Sheffield Shield matches for the Blues since making his debut in 2010, offered words of encouragement before handing over cap number 753.
"When I think back to the day I was presented with my baggy blue ... it was a special day, but it's also one of those days that you don't ever forget," he said.
"You've got 11 of your mates around you here, but you've got 750 who are thinking about you any backing you all the way and millions of fans all around the world, not only in this country."
His words clearly inspired Solway as he made an unbeaten 133 in his first knock.
NSW now leads the shield competition by more than 12 points.
