The race, which was launched back in the 1960s, will potentially see four pacers start the race with at least three wins in their past five starts - Rnr Windermere (trained and driven by Amanda Turnbull), Rock On (trained and driven by Steve Turnbull), Kash Us Back (trained by Gemma Rue, driven by Mat Rue) and emergency Lord Denzel (trained by Bernie Hewitt, driven by Doug Hewitt).
Bathurst Harness Racing Club CEO Danny Dwyer said the field's form is pretty even.

"There's not too many horses that haven't got a win in the last few starts," he said.
"The horses that have progressed to the final are in pretty good form. The top five went through from the heats and the two heat winners were Rock On and Kash Us Back, with those two recording pretty good times in two pretty good heats.
"I think the draws for those horses have made it a bit difficult for them though, with the strength of the field."
Rock On - who is trained and driven by Steven Turnbull - has drawn barrier five and the four-year-old bay bare will be looking for a fourth consecutive win and a fourth consecutive win at the Bathurst track.
The Rue-trained Kash Us Back will be driven by Mat Rue from barrier eighth and has enjoyed a successful career, having seven wins and 13 placings all up from 17 starts.
Dwyer said he believes the New Zealand bred mare Rnr Winderemere is the one to beat.
"Rnr Windermere has got the good form and with its barrier two draw, it looks like the one to beat," he said.
"When it first came across [from New Zealand] it won its first race at Menangle."
Of the seven starts Rnr Windermere has had in Australia, she's won five races - two in Bathurst and one in Young, Penrith and Menangle.
However, she only managed five wins in 38 in New Zealand.
Dwyer said the Star Trek Series has been strongly supported once again.
"It's always one our major feature races of the year and it always gets a good field, which is no different this year," he said.
The Star Trek Final is the feature event of the 10-race meeting on Friday, with the Club Menangle Country Series Heat, P J Hall Memorial Heat and Evolution Series Heat to be run on the night as well.
The Star Trek Final gets underway at 8.40pm, with the first race of the meeting at 6.10pm and the last at 10.43pm.
