Tigerlily has built a prolific reputation over the last decade through well-received DJ shows across Australia, as well as Europe, Asia and North America.
The artist, who specialises in electronic dance music [EDM], was named Australia's number one DJ by music media website Music Junkee [formerly Inthemix] from 2015 to 2017.
Oxford Hotel entertainment manager Adam Soar said the event has already generated significant buzz online, with first and second release tickets having already sold out.
"It's pleasing to see such a female-heavy crowd responding to this event, as Tigerlily is widely considered to be a pioneer in the more male-dominated DJ scene," Mr Soar said.
"We're expecting a crowd of around 700 to 800 people, and this event will be ideal for a younger club crowd looking to enjoy some high-quality entertainment."
Mr Soar said Tigerlily's inventive use of social media has helped expand her profile as a touring DJ.
"She's a positive role model for females who may want to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, and her use of multiple media forms is a great example of successful promotion in the modern market," he said.
"The music industry is such a saturated market these days, which is why it's important to have a sound understating of media and advertising."
Tigerlily's performance follows a string of high-profile acts who have performed at the Oxford Hotel in 2019, including Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers Jay Sean and Sean Kingston.
Mr Soar said the venue has another bumper roster of entertainment in store for 2020.
