The blackouts have impacted 104 properties between O'Connell and Oberon and a further 230 properties around Burraga.
A further 922 properties have also been blacked out in Orange.
Essential Energy crews are continuing to investigate the cause of the outages but they come on an afternoon when winds are picking up across the region.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, wind gusts of up to 59km/h have been recorded at Bathurst Airport while the temperature has hit 30 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, the relative humidity reading has dropped into single figures, creating hazardous conditions that have fire authorities on high alert.
A total fire ban remains in place for the region and a state of emergency has been declared across NSW.
Conditions are forecast to ease tomorrow with Bathurst expecting a top of just 21 with winds easing.
