A development application has been submitted to Bathurst Regional Council seeking approval for alternations and additions to the existing building in Boyd Street.
Under the proposal, the rear garage would be converted to a service area and there would be drive-through access at the rear of the site.
Some internal alterations are proposed, including adding a disabled toilet, dry and cool storage areas, and change in retail area layout.

The statement of environmental effects (SoEE) submitted with the development application notes that there would be very little increase in the retail area, just 16 square metres.
D'Aquino's already offers five marked parking spaces on the site, but would add a further two spaces in the drive-through section of the site if its DA is approved.
Vehicles would continue to enter the site via the southern driveway and exit via the northern driveway.
The development would not see any changes to staffing levels or the hours of operation, which are currently 8.30am to 9.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 7.30pm on Sundays.
The SoEE, which was prepared by Anthony Daintith Town Planning, says the proposal is in line with what is permissible for B1 Neighbourhood Centre zoning.
"As detailed throughout this report, the proposed alterations and additions to the existing bottle shop can generally be shown to be consistent with the relevant objectives of the zone," the SoEE reads.
"In particular, the proposal provides for 'a range of small-scale retail, business and community uses that serve the needs of people who live or work in the surrounding neighbourhood'.
"The proposal is obviously consistent with the surrounding land uses."
