A NSW Fire and Rescue crew is on the scene of the crash at the intersection of Rankin and Durham streets but no other emergency services are in attendance.
Two tow trucks have also been called and both vehicles have suffered damage to the front end.
The crash at about 11.45am has closed one westbound lane on Durham Street and traffic is also building up along Rankin Street. Motorists should expect a short delay.
There do not appear to be any injuries but motorists are advised to avoid the area, if possible.
