THE addition of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) office to the Bathurst Chase will open the door for other similar services to call the plaza home.

The NDIA is an independent statutory agency that is implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which aims to support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability, as well as their families and carers.
After months of construction, the NDIA moved into an approximately 350 square metre space in what is known as shop 16-18 of the Bathurst Chase.
Sentinel Property Group (SPG) managing director Warren Ebert said the group was delighted the NDIA had chosen their Bathurst plaza for its latest office site.
He said this was a new service to Bathurst and the five-year tenancy, with two five-year options, was a major coup for Sentinel.
"It's very exciting to have the NDIA office open at Bathurst Chase and we welcome the NDIA staff to the centre," Mr Ebert said.
"The opening of the NDIA office is a tremendous service for the city of Bathurst and the wider central west NSW region.
"The NDIA had been seeking high-quality, centrally located office space for its staff to provide planning and support services for the implementation of the NDIS in the central west region. Sentinel is pleased they found the space they needed at Bathurst Chase, which offers fantastic amenities for tenants."
The new service is expected to benefit other businesses in the plaza and make it more attractive to new tenants.
"NDIA attracts customers to Bathurst Chase that the centre would normally not see, due to its diverse service offering," SPG said.
"It also opens the doors to targeting allied health tenants who will complement NDIA, such as a medical centre, as well as pathology, physiotherapy, chiropractic and dental services."
SPG hopes to see more businesses in the plaza.
"We are always proactively sourcing tenants who will complement our existing tenant mix, as well as targeting tenants who do not have a presence in Bathurst, giving Bathurst Chase a point of difference," they said.
