The fete will feature an assortment of attractions, including a chocolate wheel, Christmas hams, a barbecue and various food and craft stalls.
In addition, the fete will feature a display of artworks produced by residents at St Catherine's.
Fete co-ordinator Betty Burke said the proceeds from the event go towards the welfare of St Catherine's residents.
"We purchased a bath lift one year to assist residents in the bathroom, so it's these sorts of resources the fete helps fund," Ms Burke said.
"There's quite a few things we've bought over the years, and it's all about ensuring residents can live in as much comfort as possible."
St Catherine's volunteer Jan Wright has been involved in the fete for 29 years, and said the event receives a favourable crowd each year.
"I do craft classes with residents each Wednesday, and I guarantee they always look forward to the fete," Ms Wright said.
Ms Burke said the fete also provides valuable social engagement opportunities for residents.
"Some of the residents don't receive a lot of visitors, so it's important to ensure they get a chance to take part in the fete's festivities," she said.
"We're very lucky to be able to run this event each year."
The fete will take place in the car park of the old St Vincent's Hospital building on Sunday, November 17 from 10am to 1pm.
