THE monthly medal at the Bathurst Golf Club proved a happy hunting ground for Fred Hennessy on Saturday as his 68 nett grabbed him the top honours in B grade and the title of cock of the course for November.

It didn't come entirely easy though as runner-up David Travis was only beaten on a countback. Shane Simmons was a couple of shots back in third and the scratch went the way of Steve Finnerty on 85 off the stick.
New member Andrew Harwood made a triumphant return to the course with a fine 70 nett to win A grade from Wayne Morgan and Warren Matthews, who both had 72 nett. Phil Campbell was the scratch victor with 76.
Phil Murray has continued his winning form, firing 68 nett to claim the C grade honours. His nearest pursuers were Graeme Jones (72) and Grant Clark (72) while the scratch went to John Rogers (93).
Helen Carver was the premiere lady thanks to 76 nett, while Chris Burke (78) and Gabby Volk (79) rounded out the minor placings.
Congratulations to Ray Stapley and Bill Casey who are the 2019 A grade foursomes champions with a 27 hole score of 116. They finished five shots clear of young guns Ben Mackey and Cameron Jackson.
Chris Boardman and James Chapple were the B grade victors thanks to a score of 122, with Steve McDonald and Shaun Elphick wrapping up second on 128.
Rodger Sparke and Terry Dwyer made a great couple on their way to a nice score of 140 for a two-shot margin over the Bull brothers Cameron and Jordan.
