A 55-year-old woman was flown to Westmead Hospital following a two-car crash on the Great Western Highway near Bathurst on Friday.

The woman was the driver of one of two vehicles involved in the collision at Glanmire, on the eastern approach to Bathurst.
She suffered arm and leg injuries.
CareFlight's Rapid Response Helicopter was called to the crash about 4.20pm and landed at Bathurst Airport at 5.10pm.

There the CareFlight crew met the woman who had been transported to the airport by NSW Ambulance.
NSW Ambulance crews provided initial care for the woman and the driver of the other vehicle at the crash scene.
The second driver was taken by road ambulance to Bathurst Hospital in a stable condition.
CareFlight's specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided pain relief for the woman for her multiple injuries, including suspected broken bones.
She was flown to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Other emergency crews were at the scene and the crash affected highway traffic for several hours.
