CITY clubs once again got a reminder of what the Bathurst Cycling Club is capable of when the small but strong team from the Central West returned home with four gold medals from Saturday's Clarence Street Cyclery Cup.

The Bathurst team of Dan Googe, Kalinda Robinson, Luke Tuckwell, Ebony Robinson and Glen Carter took to the Dunc Gray Velodrome boards, finding success across a range of events.
Googe, Kalinda Robinson and Tuckwell had the rare opportunity to ride a competitive event together in their gold medal JM19 performance.
Robinson jumped across from JW19 and Tuckwell moved up from JM17 to forge the unlikely, but successful, combination.
Puzicha then enjoyed her golden moment when she left a stacked Illawarra field of riders chasing her in a JW17 Scratch triumph.
Tuckwell earned an individual accolade with his impressive JM17 Elimination Championship gold medal.
The Bathurst rider kept himself towards the front of the pack each lap before taking control of the race with four riders remaining.
Kalinda Robinson matched Puzicha's scratch effort by taking out the JW19 edition, seeing off Dubbo rival Haylee Fuller for the top prize.
Bathurst Cycling Club track coach Marian Renshaw said the team were rewarded for their efforts at training.
"All riders who contested the Clarence Street Cup in their respective divisions rode extremely well considering their handicaps," she said.
"The evening was very enjoyable for all."

Bathurst was close to scoring more success in a series of great elimination race results.
Puzicha finished with a silver in her race, Kalinda Robinson came away with bronze while younger sister Ebony impressed with her fifth placing.
Renshaw highlighted Robinson's effort in a challenging new age group.
"Ebony had a great evening riding in the under 15s women after just going up into this division and being very competitive," she said.
"Kalinda was back up on Sunday to ride the NSW Omnium Championships, finishing a creditable fourth."
Puzicha came the closest of the Bathurst group to taking out one of the prestigious Wheelrace titles.
The Bathurst rider came home a close second from scratch in the under 17s race, needing just a few metres more to reach the front.
In total, Bathurst Cycling Club riders added seven podium finishes to their four gold medals.
Bathurst professional cyclist Mark Renshaw was on deck to support the team and hand out a number of medals to successful riders.
