The school is very well known for installing the values of family, integrity, dignity and hope.

With many Christian practices across the curriculum and a part of everyday school life, meditation is an effective and common practice across the school, both inside and outside of the classroom.

At St. Philomena's, prayer is most precious, for it nourishes a daily commitment to love.

This provides a path of connection for all families within a grade level and is an opportunity to further develop community ties with all parents across the school.

At various times throughout the year children have the opportunity to participate in activities like chess, dancing, speech, singing, meditation, gardening, library and STEM, an opportunity to mix with children across the school with common interests and an opportunity to support buddy friendships and social groups.

Students have many opportunities to participate in sport gala days and cultural events throughout the year. Connecting with the wider Bathurst community is part of what we do at St Philomena's with children representing, supporting and celebrating many regional events.

Small, but with a great big heart, St. Phils has a focus on not only teaching and educating young minds, but shaping those young minds into great people.
