Brien, who has marked himself as one of the Westen region's premier players, will be a focal point of the Saints' revamped offence under Zac Merritt in 2020.
With the Oberon Tigers no longer fielding a Group 10 premier league team for 2020, many of their players looked to continue their time in the top tier competition with a new club.
Brien's signature was undoubtedly the most sought after of the bunch and Pat's president Graham Ward was thrilled to land to top tier Tiger.
"He's a class above. He's been such a loyal player for Oberon and he's a Western Rams representative. If Oberon were still in the comp I'm sure he would have stayed there next year," he said.
Brien's signing comes not long after the club announced Lee McClintock had joined the club from the Cowra Magpies.
Saints now have a backline which deserves to be ranked among the most fearsome in the 2020 competition.
"It's a major coup," Ward said of Brien's signing.
"We need outside backs. It's probably one of the areas where we lacked a bit last year.
"With Lee McClintock and Caleb Wardman we've got a lot of options there, and they're all happy to see what works with the team. I think Jackson prefers centre but he can play fullback."
Several other star Oberon players still remain unsigned as Group 10 clubs hunt for their signatures.
