The event, hosted by Mitchell Conservatorium, will feature a bumper roster of music performances from both old favourites and first-timers.
Bathurst Real Estate's Kurt Booth will be one of the first-time performers at the event, and said he's excited to help the community get into the Christmas spirit.
"Christmas is a time for family and community, and I want help share the spirit of the season through music," Mr Booth said.
In addition to his solo performance, Bathurst Academy of Music [BAM] manager Mickey Pye said a number of students will play key roles in this year's event.
"We're thrilled the conservatorium has invited us on board this year and we look forward to collaborating with them further in the future," Mr Pye said.
"It's an event for all of us to take time out from our busy lives and celebrate something that brings everyone together."
The event will also feature select performances by the Allegri Singers, Pure Imagination Performing Arts, the Innocent Bystanders and the Bathurst City and RSL Concert Band.
"It's quite a long process to get Carols by Candlelight ready each year, but we take great pride in bringing such a large gathering of the community together," Conservatorium publicity officer Lauren Hagney said.
"Community is the true celebration of Christmas and in our current climate of drought, it's important to come together for some festive relief."
The event will get under way from 7pm.
