IT'S a double up at Rosehill for Bathurst trainer Dean Mirfin this Saturday.
Mirfin has often taken his runners into the city for a shot at the $75,000 Highway Handicap races but it's a rare chance to have two of the events at the same meeting.
He's making the most of it by bringing Skipper Joe and Tale Of The Kraut to the Sydney track for the 1,200 metre sprints.
Both horses enter their races as the lowest benchmark runners but will have as much as a 7.5 kilogram advantage over their rivals.
Skipper Joe won his latest start on his home track despite having to shoulder 61.5kg and prior to that picked up back-to-back runner-up finishes.
Tale Of The Kraut is a new addition to Mirfin's stable, coming across from Danny Parsons.
The four-year-old Trusting mare has been away from the race track since May and will be making her first journey to Rosehill on Saturday.
Jay Ford has the ride on both horses.
