Library services manager Patou Clerc says the program will incorporate everything from fairies and frogs to fanart and famous fictional characters.
She said bookings are now open.
"These programs always fill up quickly, so we encourage the community to get in early," she said.
The Harry Potter quiz and disco, which will be held on Monday, January 20, will be open to the whole family, according to Ms Clerc.
She said young and old will be encouraged to dress up as their favourite Hogwarts character and test their knowledge of JK Rowling's famous book series, which will be followed by a disco where participants can "show off their magical moves on the dancefloor".

As part of Bathurst Regional Council's water-saving and environmental education initiatives, there will also be two workshops by local horticulturist Dhyan Blore.
"Dhyan will provide expert advice on how to look after frogs and bees in our gardens during the current drought," Ms Clerc said.
A fanart drawing workshop with Sydney artist Matthew Lin will provide tips and tricks on how to draw popular Pokémon characters. Participants will then be able to invent their own Pokémon creation.
"There will also be kids' yoga, a macramé workshop, wing and wand craft with Fiona Howle, and a Lego legends challenge where teams of two will compete to build a Lego masterpiece in just 40 minutes," Ms Clerc said.
Bathurst Library's January school holiday program will run from Monday, January 13 to Thursday, January 23.
