Since its launch in November, the service has given Bathurst residents the opportunity to get meals from a choice of nine local establishments delivered to their door by a local taxi driver.
Bathurst Taxis' production development and marketing manager Paul Shanahan said he was happy with how the community has received the service thus far.
"While its been quiet over the Christmas period, we've received favourable comments from customers and stakeholders," Mr Shanahan said.
"One of our stakeholders, Pantano's Bar and Grill owner Fiona Miller, made her investment back in a month and she couldn't be happier."
Along with Pantano's, the taxi service delivers meals from B-Town BBQ, Elephant and Castle, Jack Duggans, Panorama Hotel, El Guapo, Crema, Tamarin Indian Restaurant and Cobblestone Lane.
The fee for the service is equal to the taxi fee from the establishment to the delivery location.
"I've carried out four deliveries myself and with 22 cars in our fleet, I'm sure plenty more have accessed the service," Mr Shanahan said.
"Pantano's and the Panorama have proven very popular among customers."
With other regions throughout NSW monitoring the success of the service, Mr Shanahan hopes to ramp up promotion and marketing for the service as businesses return from the Christmas break.
"We'll review the service in six months time to see if we have enough stakeholders to continue, as we have to be careful to maintain service for our regular customers," he said.
"People want efficiency, reliability and to know the product is there ready for them at the door.
"We're a trial town for this service, and if it proves successful, it will expand to other country towns in NSW."
