Summerfest is run by a group of Christians from the Bathurst Presbyterian Church, Bathurst Evangelical Church and Bathurst Baptist Church, along with a team of volunteers from across NSW.
The event has been running during the summer school holidays for over a decade now, which involves a week of free fun and activities for the whole family.
Summerfest will run from January 13-17, with all events and activities held at the Bathurst Showground.
There'll be a program for primary-aged children (Triple S), teenagers (Switch) and pre-schoolers (Rugrats), while there'll be four buses across town that will bring kids to and from the Showground.
Bathurst Presbyterian Church pastor Tristan Merkel said Summerfest is also an opportunity for people to hear about the good news of Jesus.
"In a busy, complicated, stressful and painful world, we reckon getting out for a week of fun activity is 'good for the soul'," he said.
"But much more deeply and profoundly, we think Jesus is good for each and every person.
"Every day at Summerfest attendees get to be part of active programs made for their age group, and made to help them hear about the hope and the joy Jesus offers."
The Rugrats program will run from 9am to 10.45am, with parents required to stay onsite. Children will enjoy supervised play, craft, songs and stories from the Bible while parents can join in or relax over morning tea.
Triple S will run from 9am to midday, with kids enjoying games, drama, songs, craft, Bible teaching and making friends.
And at Switch, high school students and teenagers will be able to chill out, enjoy snacks and discuss the Bible from 9am to midday.
Everyone involved in putting on programs have all passed the relevant police and Working With Children Check.
