TWO vehicles have been left significantly damaged following a deliberately lit fire overnight.

Fire and Rescue NSW Kelso brigade was called to a street in Kelso at 1.18am on Tuesday with reports that cars were alight.
"There were two vehicles in driveway of a residence in Opal Circuit," Captain Scott Wilson said.
"A Toyota LandCruiser was severely damaged by fire in the front engine bay and an older model Subaru wagon had damage to rear."
Captain Wilson said police were also called to the scene and the fire appears to have been deliberately lit..
"There was a strong smell of petrol, with police on scene reviewing CCTV from a number of residences," he said.
"There was also a burnt-out wheelie bin across the road containing a burnt fuel container."
One of the vehicles was taken away by police and investigations continue.
