The Super Summer Slam annual youth program is back for 2020, but this time as Summerfest. Run by a group of Christians from the Bathurst Presbyterian Church, Bathurst Evangelical Church and Bathurst Baptist Church, along with a team of volunteers from across NSW, it will be held from January 13 to 17. Four-week Yoga Pilates Intro New Year Kickstarter Program. DMC Studio Bathurst offers a complete mind, body, strength and mobility program. The studio is located within the CSU Gym. Bathurst Library will host Sydney-based artist Matt Lin as he gives hints and tricks for drawing everyone's favourite Pikachus, Flareons or Gyarados. Participants might even create their own Pokemon. Bathurst's Australia Day events will start early, with the public invited to recognise its Australia Day award recipients at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Friday, January 24 from 5.30pm. On Australia Day, enjoy a barbecue breakfast at Eglinton War Memorial Hall, welcome new citizens at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre or enjoy free entry to the Manning Aquatic Centre.
