For the third consecutive year, Danny Board has walked away from Summernats with a trophy.
And at the 33rd edition of Summernats, which ran from January 2-5, he picked up first place in the street awards top custom (mild/wild) category.
"There was a VF Maloo and I thought that would've beat me because it also won top ute and top paint," he said.
Mr Board said that over 100,000 people attended Summernats across the four days, which was held in Canberra.
There was over 2200 cars enter in categories in what Mr Board described as record temperatures.
"There was over 100,000 people in Canberra for it and it was one of the hottest days on record, but the party still went on," he said.
His custom car took two years to build and has been road worthy for four years now.
It's inspired on the Peter Brock Group 3 series of cars, made with same colour, identical signage and retro 19'' rims.
