Googe recorded 11.45 seconds to top the standings in the flying 200m qualifier, a mammoth improvement on his 12.43 just 12 months earlier, and went on to defeat Kalinda Robinson in the A grade sprint for gold.

Billy Hutton (12.45) edged out last year's A grade sprint champion Andrew Carter (12.55) in the flying 200 and ended up taking the bronze in the decider.

Googe will no doubt have the 11-second barrier as his next focus over 2020, having already made such huge strides in the space of 12 months.

The results are also a testament to Robinson's rapid rise through the ranks as she bested to experience competitors in Hutton and Carter to come away with the silver.

Glen Carter was the man celebrating in B grade as he snuck under the 13 second barrier (12.97) to top the flying 200 timesheets.

He backed that performance up with a gold medal sprint ride to beat home Rod Lovett (13.34) and Damien Bennett (13.63).

The elder Robinson sister might have narrowly missed the top prize in A grade but the same couldn't be said for the younger Robinson in C grade.

Ebony Robinson continued her great run of form from across this track season by winning the C grade flying 200 and sprint.

No-one else was remotely close to Robinson's time of 13.55 in the 200m dash, the closest being Wayne Powell (14.40) and Cadel Lovett (14.52).

The D grade flying 200 and sprint crowns went to Phil Cole (14.84) in one of the closest competitions across all grades.

He narrowly out sprinted Mick Robinson (14.98) for the fastest time.
