The organisers of the race introduced the Town to Track concept last year and, after its success, are expanding it in 2020.
Instead of just a small selection, the entire 40-car field will tour from Mount Panorama to Russell Street as a way to celebrate the start of the race meeting.
Once in the CBD, the cars and stars of the race will be on display to fans for several hours, with an autograph session and driver Q and A sessions to take place once the cars are positioned.
Under police escort and led by the Mercedes-AMG safety car, 12 Hour cars will leave pit lane at 10.45am on Thursday morning and complete a slow lap of the circuit itself prior to exiting the track onto Panorama Avenue.
The parade will turn left onto Brilliant Street and then onto George Street heading towards the CBD, before arriving at the court house.
Drivers will be available to meet fans and sign autographs before departing Russell Street at 1.30pm and returning to the circuit, via William Street and Panorama avenue.
Fans are encouraged to line the route on the day.
"It will be quite a show both as the cars head to, and back to the circuit from Russell street on Thursday," event director Kurt Sakzewski said.
"Once parked, fans will have the opportunity to meet the star drivers, grab a poster, get some autographs and meet and greet with the people involved in the race.
"We're very appreciative of the NSW government, NSW Police and the Bathurst Regional Council for their efforts in making this hugely exciting part of the 12 Hour weekend happen - it's going to be quite a show."
