Bathurst councillor Jacqui Rudge announced yesterday that all gold coin donations will go towards breast cancer awareness courtesy of the Bathurst Beaters.
"We have a cookbook in the works entitled Bathurst on a Plate, and the donations will assist with the publishing costs of the book," Cr Rudge said.
"The cookbook is scheduled for release on Mother's Day, and each copy sold will raise funds for the NSW Cancer Council."
Bathurst on a Plate was championed by the late Bathurst Beaters president, Noorjehan Merchant, who sadly lost her battle with cancer last month.
Cr Rudge, who is also the vice president of Bathurst Beaters, said the cookbook will feature the recipes and stories of local women who have battled breast cancer.
"Noorjehan was passionate about seeing this cookbook published, so we'd love to see everyone get behind this great cause on the way to Elton," Cr Rudge said.
The four bus routes will service Kelso, Windradyne, Eglinton and Mount Panorama between 3pm and 12am.
