IT may sound odd given his side is currently undefeated and has already secured a spot in the Western Zone Premier League final, but Bathurst District Cricket Association captain Adam Ryan has a headache building.

It is not because he is concerned about what lies ahead for his men - far from it - but rather which of those men will get the chance to pad up in both the final round match and the decider.
Across Bathurst's four matches thus far, 19 players have been used. Of those only five - Mitch Taylor, Imran Qureshi, Jaden Ekert plus Wayne and Dave Sellers - have contested each fixture.
Though not all 19 are likely to be available for the remaining games, Ryan knows some tough selection decisions will need to be made.
"It's just a very good position Bathurst cricket is in at the moment with the depth we have. It's going to be a fun and interesting times picking the next two sides," he said.
"Those guys that have come in, they didn't miss a beat and they've played really well.
"But that's a good headache to have, at least we aren't chasing guys out of the pub or something like that. It really does put Bathurst in a strong position.
"We're probably not reflecting that in our BOIDC results, but there are individuals in the town that are playing really well and it's good to have such a deep pool to be able to chose from."
READ MORE: Ryan savours a rare win in Dubbo
While Bathurst did not qualify for last season's final - Dubbo beat Parkes to be crowned champions - Ryan's outfit has been the form team of the 2019-20 Western Zone Premier League thus far.
Bathurst began its campaign with a three-wicket win over Orange and has since comfortably defeated Dubbo (51-runs), Cowra (five wickets) and Midwest (four wickets).
The good thing for Ryan is that those wins have not relied on the same individuals starring.
Six players thus far - Wayne Sellers (55, 71 not out), Imran Qureshi (44), Henry Shoemark (43), Mark Day (43), Jaden Ekert (49) and Ryan (47) - have notched up scores in excess of 40.
In terms of bowling, Dave Henderson (3-55), Harrison Craig (3-24), Connor Slattery (3-42), Ben Parsons (3-14) and Taylor (3-40) have all enjoyed good hauls.
"The boys have really played well and someone different has stepped up in each game too which is really nice," Ryan said.
Bathurst's final round game will be against a Parkes outfit which boasts just one win. But Ryan and his players won't be taking that contest lightly.
"With that we've got the final spot sewn up and now we will be looking to win that Parkes game because it would be nice to host the final as well," he said.
"There are only six games all up, we want to extend our run, it's a bit like if you can, you don't want to give an inch."
