Across Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the CWA Bathurst Day Branch will occupy the Driver Reviver kiosk at Morse Park from 7am to 7pm, providing complementary tea, coffee and snacks for passing motorists.
"Our ladies will be here the entire weekend promoting the importance of taking a break from driving every two hours," CWA Bathurst Day Branch president Gnia Barnier said.
"Usually there's two of us here at a time, but sometimes there's more on board helping out."
Ms Barnier said the Driver Reviver receives a lot of volunteer support from the Bathurst community to provide assistance for a diverse host of motorists.
"Certain motorists prefer stopping at a Driver Reviver over a cafe or restaurant due to its quieter, more meditative atmosphere," she said.
"We serve as an information centre as well, as motorists often ask us for directions."
Ms Barnier said there will be some welcome relief for children as well as adults.
"We're hoping to get some Milo and cordial in for the children," she said.
"There's never a shortage of interesting conversations here at this Driver Reviver."
The Driver Reviver was shut over the Christmas and new year period due to the ill health of long-time Driver Reviver volunteer Joy Press.
A donation tin will be on hand at the Driver Reviver, with all proceeds going towards the CWA Bathurst Day Branch.
