Hundreds of thousands of dollars in assistance is available through scholarships for continuing and commencing students.
A number of scholarships are available for first-year students, including the Bush Children's Education Foundation Scholarship, which is open to students from remote communities studying select courses.
The Charles Sturt Bushfire Scholarship is available to first-year and continuing students who have been affected by bushfires.
There are also scholarships tailored for specific courses, including business, information technology, agriculture, nursing, pharmacy, education and veterinary science.
Director of the Charles Sturt Advancement Office Sarah Ansell said the main round of scholarship offerings have options to suit students from an range of financial situations, course options and geographical locations.
"Charles Sturt University offers a range of scholarships intended to support students with a variety of needs," she said.
"Scholarships are based on academic performance, financial need, home location, community involvement or dedication to a particular area of study."
Ms Ansell said students can benefit significantly if successful and urges students to look carefully at scholarships that are available.
