The business, formerly known as Accessible Living Options, will use the open day as an opportunity to introduce visitors to the aged care services they offer, such as home care packages, flexible respite and social support for groups and individuals.
Bathurst couple Nola and Ian Ramsay have been New Horizons clients for a number of years, and said the service has allowed them to stay connected within the community.
"Ian and I are involved in New Horizons' social support program for groups, and we attend social luncheons once a month," Ms Ramsay said.
"In addition, we often venture out of town for whole-day outings featuring guest speakers and various other forms of entertainment."
Ms Ramsay said their involvement in New Horizons programs has enriched their social lives as senior citizens.
"We've met a group of wonderful people and a lot of the activities we've participated in are things we wouldn't consider as individuals," she said.
"The guest speakers have also provided us with encouraging food for thought to apply to our daily lives."
Ms Ramsay said it's important for senior citizens to maintain an active social and cultural lifestyle.
"Seniors need to be out and about to maintain a strong sense of purpose and these programs are ideal for people who may feel disconnected," she said.
"You can't just spend your days sitting at home watching television."
New Horizons aged care team leader Denise Simpson said the idea of the open day is to ensure the Bathurst community understands the services available to them.
"We want to ensure senior citizens can maintain independence in their homes for as long as they wish," Ms Simpson said.
"A big issue facing senior citizens is loneliness, which is why we tailor our support programs around community engagement and social gatherings."
New Horizons' Open Day will commence on Saturday, February 22 from 9am, and will include art, crafts, games, tours and opportunities for conversation.

The NSW Seniors' Festival runs from February 12 to 23.
